" It is with great sadness we announce that Nonie Sharp passed away on Thursday 19th July 2007. For more than thirty years, Nonie was a dedicated fancier and breeder of distinction, in British Columbia, of miniature dachshunds in all three coat varieties She will be sadly missed by her many friends and admirers, but comforted by the fact that they are all the better for having known her as a friend and mentor.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday 28th July at 1.00 p.m. at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 28th Avenue, Surrey BC".
